How to uninstall Cortana from Windows 11

Microsoft has discontinued Cortana and if you no longer want it on your system, you can uninstall Cortana from Windows 11. Here's how to do that.

After executing the command, Cortana will be completely removed from your system.

How to uninstall Cortana using Winget

You can also uninstall Cortana from Windows 11 using the Windows Package Manager command if you prefer.

To uninstall Cortana using Winget:

  1. Open PowerShell as an administrator or run the command prompt (cmd.exe) as an administrator.
  2. Type the following command and press To type: winget uninstall Cortana
  3. Type: s agree to the original terms.
  4. You will see a progress bar during the process, and once the command is complete, Cortana will be uninstalled from your system.
