How to get the Team Star Sporty Cap in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
This secret Team Star camp is made up of a handful of Team Star outcasts who are no longer affiliated with Team Star's great leaders; They won't fight if you get close to them, and they'll even give you a special item (the Team Star Sporty cap) if you talk to their leader.
To find this secret camp, you will need to travel to the midpoint between Tagtree Thicket and North Province (Area One).
After reaching the middle of the two points, head north until you see a large white tent with Team Star members surrounding it. If you are having trouble pinpointing the exact location of the campground, use the map below to help you find it:

Once you arrive at the camp, walk up to the camp leader (he should be right in front of the tent doors) and talk to him.
After he explains to you what the camp is and why it is not affiliated with any of the official Team Star bases, he will give you the Sporty Cap (Star) item. You will be able to equip this cosmetic item as soon as it is delivered to you.
Although Team Star's secret camp will never appear on the map, you can still come back and visit it whenever you want (however, you will only receive a hat from it)!
